I was lucky enough to be asked to help plan, design and style for Wedding Sparrow’s summer editorial earlier in the year. With Jen Huang, a film photographer from the US, already on board, it was hard to say no. The venue was the dreamy St Giles House in Wimborne, Dorset and we asked Fiona from Firenza Flowers to do the florals on the day. We wanted to keep the theme pretty neutral and focus on the model, the decor and the surroundings. We used some gorgeous gowns, one from Yolan Cris via Mirror Mirror Couture London, Jurgita Bridal and some pretty body suits from The Lace Atelier. Hair and Makeup was done by the amazing talent that is Chiali Meng Artistry, creating two looks for us, including that wrap around braid! The stationary was created by The Little Blue Chair, who sketched the house for us which made the stationary really stand out.

We planned to shoot a lot outside, but on the day it was damp and cold and it rained most of the morning, but the amazing Fiona still managed to cover that gorgeous gate to now where. She made it look like it had just been growing there the whole time. She also created an epic head piece and and amazing bouquet, which gave more depth and texture to the images.

With all of these super talents from across the globe, we created something pretty special, I am sure you will agree. A shoot that I am really proud to be part of.
