As Autumn is setting in, the days are cooler, and it’s getting darker earlier, I thought it would be a good idea to give you some inspiration for this beautiful season. Autumn is one of my favourite times of the year, I love the colours, but I really love the textures the most. The leaves, the fruit, the bounty that our beautiful planet creates it just incredible and incorporating that into your styling can wow the socks off your guests! There is such a wealth of colour around this time of year, like luxurious jewel tones, more rustic with green hues, or heaps of orange and deep reds and browns. Never pick any more than five colours. Pick colours that complement each other, but that also stand out from each other to add that wow factor and try to pick seasonal colours, Try to keep the colour palette consistent throughout your day, in your flowers, stationery, table decor and overall styling. Using the colour palette throughout the florals is a simple way to keep it flowing. Then pick a colour or two from them to use in your stationary and your table decor, like napkins or candles.
Food is another great way of bringing the season to your wedding. There is some much gorgeous fruit around, from apples, blackberries, elderberries, figs, pears, and plums. Adding these into your styling through the florals or on a cake, and throughout your menu, will provide a sumptuous feel (and taste!).
